GRANTS 101 DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

Take this training opportunity to learn more about one of the most important revenue streams of the NPCs: Grants. Your instructor, Maggie McCarthy, is a former NPC Executive Director who now specializes in Grant Development. She will assist you in this interactive learning environment to help establish a fundamental understanding of grant development and building your grant program at the NPC.
This workshop will take place in Kansas City, MO! The event will kick-off with a welcome reception on Wednesday, June 12th at 5:30 PM for early birds in Kansas City. The first day of training begins on Thursday, June 13th at 9:00 AM and concludes on Friday, June 14th at 12:00 PM.
If your organization is a current member of NAVREF, there will be no charge for the Grants Development Workshop other than your travel expenses, i.e., flight, per diem and hotel.
The Grants Development Workshop is kept small and informal to facilitate learning points between presenters as well as participants. This training is designed for executive directors and senior staff members with less than 5 years of experience, however, all are welcome!

A fun opportunity to meet your colleagues. This event will take place at the hotel lobby bar. Great if you make it, but no sweat if you can't!
Day 1 is a full 8 hour day of instruction. Breakfast and light refreshments will be provided by NAVRERF.
Day 2 is a half day of training and will conclude by noon. Breakast will be provided by NAVREF. We'll also take a class picture at the end so please don't book your flight home too early!
